What we collect, why we collect it and how long we keep it.
Core disclosure
- Broker Battles is an independent broker ranking and community voting platform.
- Rankings are editorial and community votes are opinions; neither is financial advice, a regulatory assessment or an endorsement.
- Brokers do not pay to be listed or ranked, and voting is free. We may earn a commission when you open an account through some broker links; commission never changes rankings.
- Trading and investing involve risk of loss. Users should do their own due diligence before using financial services.

Data we collect
Account data: email address, and your name and email from Google or Apple if you sign in with them. Voting data: which brokers and arenas you voted for, and when. Broker requests: company name, website, contact name and business email. Technical data: IP address and device details, for security and to prevent vote abuse.
Why we use it
To run your account and count your vote (contract), to publish vote totals and prevent fraud (legitimate interests), to answer broker requests (legitimate interests), and for optional analytics only with your consent. We make no automated decisions about you and do not use AI to profile you.
Who we share it with
Our hosting and database provider, our email provider, Google or Apple when you choose to sign in with them, and Logo.dev, which receives your IP address when your browser loads broker logos. Each only as needed. We never sell personal data and do not use it for advertising profiling. If you click a broker link, that broker may learn you came from us.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the EU. Where they do, we rely on safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Account and vote data while your account is open, then up to 12 months for abuse prevention. Broker requests for up to 24 months. Technical logs for up to 12 months.
Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or export your data, and withdraw consent at any time. See Your Data Rights for how to ask. You may complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus or your local authority.
