The rules that govern bidding and backing on Broker Battles.

Core disclosure

  • Broker Battles is an independent entertainment, marketing and community-backing platform.
  • Tournament results represent money backed by the community and are not financial advice, regulatory assessments or endorsements.
  • Paid broker bids affect tournament qualification only.
  • Backing is a payment that directly decides battle results; it is not an investment, a wager or a financial product, and it is non-refundable.
  • Prize pots are funded from broker entry money and are awarded to backers of the winning side as prizes only, with no cash alternative and no cash payouts.
  • Users should conduct their own due diligence before using financial services.

Using the platform

By accessing Broker Battles you agree to use the platform lawfully and not to manipulate bidding or backing mechanics. We may remove entries, backings or accounts that appear fraudulent.

Broker bids

Broker bids are cumulative and affect tournament qualification only. When a broker raises an existing bid, only the difference is charged. Bids are non-refundable once a tournament entry is confirmed, except where required by law.

Fan backing

Backing is a voluntary payment that anyone may make for either side of a live battle, including a broker backing itself. The side holding the most money backed when the countdown ends wins the battle. Backing is non-refundable. Backers of the winning side share that battle's prize pot in proportion to the amount they backed; the pot is funded from broker entry money, is awarded as prizes only with no cash alternative, and prize fulfilment may require identity verification and compliance with the prize supplier's terms. Backers of the losing side receive nothing. Broker Battles is a promotional contest and not betting, gambling or a financial product.

Bidding

Only a verified broker may bid, or outbid, for its own tournament seat. Bids decide qualification only and never decide a live battle.

Changes

We may update these terms as the platform develops. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
