Two words, one model
Bid gets a broker into the tournament. Back wins the battle.
Only the highest 32 bids enter the tournament. Only the broker itself can bid or raise its bid — if it gets passed, it is outbid and must raise before entry closes.
In every live battle, anyone with a confirmed account can back either broker with money — traders, fans, and the broker itself. Back as often as you like.
When the countdown hits zero, the broker with the most money backed wins the battle and advances to the next round.
