Refund and Cancellation Policy
What happens to money paid to back a broker or to bid for a tournament seat.

- Tournament results represent money backed by the community and are not financial advice, regulatory assessments or endorsements.
- Paid broker bids affect tournament qualification only.
- Backing is a payment that directly decides battle results; it is not an investment, a wager or a financial product, and it is non-refundable.
- Prize pots are funded from broker entry money and are awarded to backers of the winning side as prizes only, with no cash alternative and no cash payouts.
- Users should conduct their own due diligence before using financial services.
Backing payments
A backing is an entry fee for a promotional prize competition. Once it is recorded against a live battle it immediately affects that battle's published totals, so it cannot be withdrawn, reduced or refunded. Where you have a statutory right to cancel a digital purchase, that right ends the moment your backing is applied to a battle, and by backing you acknowledge and accept this.
Broker bids
Broker bids for tournament seats are non-refundable once an entry is confirmed, because the money is committed to the prize pot and to the running of the tournament. Where a broker raises an existing bid, only the difference is charged.
When we do refund
We refund in full where: you were charged twice for the same backing or bid; a technical error recorded an amount you did not authorise; a payment was taken but the backing or bid was never applied; a battle or tournament is cancelled before it closes; or the law requires it. Cancelled battles may alternatively be carried forward to the replacement battle if you prefer.
How to request a refund
Email our support address from the address on your account with the date, amount and battle or broker concerned. We acknowledge requests within 2 working days and aim to decide within 14 days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 working days of the decision, and the corresponding amount is removed from the battle totals.
Chargebacks and abuse
Raising a card chargeback instead of contacting us first may result in the account being suspended and any related entries and prizes being void. Amounts reversed by a card issuer are removed from battle totals and from prize share calculations.
Closing your account
You can close your account at any time. Closing an account does not refund past backings or bids, and forfeits any prize that has not yet been claimed.
